Hot Spud

This place was awesome. And it doesn't bankrupt you like most other places trying to sell you gluten free food. We will be coming back tomorrow to enjoy dinner again. Both my kids loved it

Heaven for baked potatoes lover .

Went here after a tour of Alcatraz island and it was one of my favorite places I ate on our honeymoon! That’s after spending time in Utah, Vegas, and driving up the coast!

Cheap food at this spot - super good. Arrived at six, it was not packed. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The bill was reasonable.

Awesome place. I'm still waiting for the day when there is one of these on every corner. We tried the chicken and the shrimp, and both were excellent. Friendly, neighborly place, too.

Soooo good. I almost never eat baked potatoes, but loved these! One potato was more than enough to fill me up and I would definitely recommend coming here.

Really lovely food. So nice to find a typical English dish in America. Shame that they use so much plastic, they can definitely find a different solution to that. Either way, the vegetarian food was great!

My favorite place for tasty Cheap food. I had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here. This place has a cool feel to it. I can see why they have a lot of positive reviews.

I went there today with family...employees were very friendly and patient, and when the food was done.. it tasted magnificent!! so good and flavorful. ( i ordered a baked potato, with bacon bits and shrimp) literally the bomb !!! thank you guys :)

If you are craving a baked potatoe with all the fixins this is your place. All potatoes are 16oz and they pack the toppings on and rather cheap. I always get one with double butter double sour cream and double chives it cost about $6.00

My first time to get my spud I liked it. I’ve ordered the grilled steak and is surprised it’s pretty delicious!!! Definitely I’ll come back to try other spud toppings!!!

Delicious, incredibly fresh, and a lot better value than anything nearby on fisherman's wharf. Grilled chicken and steak freshly cooked, makes the meaty jacket potato (hot spud) a good choice too. Almost all ingredients gluten free, with gluten free chocolate brownie on offer too!

Stopped in here on a whim and had a really good large baked potato as an early dinner. I got the potato with cheese, shrimp, corn, green onions and black olives. It came with Chipotle sauce but I opted for it on the side because it could get spicy if it was on top. The sauce was very good and had a nice zesty lime flavor along with a little kick. The skin of the potato on the bottom was a little tough in places but I was too full to eat the whole skin and everything else too. My partner got BBQ pork on top of the potato as well as corn, pickled red onions, green onions, and cheese. It was tasty as well. If you love baked potatoes they have a variety of interesting toppings to try. I believe you can also build your own masterpiece baked potato too.

Hands down the best food I’ve had in San Francisco all day. The staff goes above and beyond, putting much thought into how they prep the food for you. Would recommend to anyone, especially those needing gluten friendly.

I was skeptical, but this place was amazing. Hot delicious potato dinner in about 5 minutes.We got the wharf (crab potato) and a chicken potato and they were both great. The cheese was melty and delicious. I want to learn how they get their potatoes so fluffy.Also the sweet potatoe brownie was great!Our total was about $30, which seems high, but I feel that it was worth it in fisherman's wharf to be completely full!

Interesting concept and we tried it for lunch today. As per the name, the potatoes were hot and were delicious. We are vegetarians and the veggie spuds hit the spot. The only minor quibble I have is that, I wish there were a bit more varieties in toppings - maybe some hot sauces, some chopped herbs etc. Maybe something to think about :)

This place absolutely hit the spot after a busy morning. Food was great, I went with a classic style potato. Well worth the money, I was very impressed by the size of the meal. There were so many choices if the classic isn't your thing. Location was awesome too, within walking distance of must see tourists attractions.

I just found a new favorite fast food place. Hot Spud is amazing! I have food allergies (corn, soy, wheat, & peanuts) and they were so friendly and accommodating. It was super busy and they still took time to take care of me! Not to mention it was absolutely delicious and a good price. I’ll be back soon, Hot Spud.

I was skeptic we'd find anything on Fisherman's wharf when my girlfriend decided she wanted potatoes but we found this little shop and boy was i pleasantly surprised. Service was quick and friendly. Food was a good price for a great eat. I was Very satisfied with the steak potato i ordered. Definitely a place to try for those who have been to the wharf and have already tried clam chowders and the usual stuff. This was new to me and a good choice.

Needs some more vegan options

These massive potatoes are a meal of their own and they are perfectly soft / fluffy. Add to that the tasty toppings, this is a great treat.

Surprisingly good, try their hot wings sauce. It's vegan and tasty. Slightly spicy, tangy and just right. Don't forget to add peanuts in your spud to make the texture look good and taste crunchy. I ordered all vegetarian toppings and it tasted so good. Quite filling too. The atmosphere is nice and chill and the service is good. I added some pictures for reference.

Looking for vegan options in Fisherman’s Wharf area is tough....luckily, I found this little gem. The potato and vegan, fresh fill-ins were just delicious that I had to order TWO potatoes. Don’t pass up this place if visiting San Francisco!

I LOVE this place!!!!! I literally travel from Miami Florida for this spot. It is definitely underrated and one of the top places to eat in San Francisco. The customer service is excellent and the food is even better. I suggest the steak potato or the pulled pork spud. The meat is seasoned excellently and the toppings just take it to the next level. Also, try the sweet potato brownie; it's sweet but not too sweet. It adds depth to the classic brownie.

Something pretty unique to eat in SFO. The potato baked with skin filled with other stuff inside it is heavenly! A must try if you are near the Fisherman's warf.

We ordered a veggie Spud and thoroughly enjoyed it. The veggie toppings were generous, the Spud was well baked and the sauce added to the experience. This is our favorite go to restaurant for evening snacks.

Just had lunch there and the potatoes were large and a full meal.Get lots of toppings and make a huge yummy experience out of it.Highly recommend getting one while down by the fisherman's wharf.

Two of us cost about $30. This potato was no small fry. Potato was fully cooked without being dry. Toppings were plentiful and enjoyable. Not crowded on a Saturday afternoon which I appreciated. The two people working the front were very nice.

Don't know about you, but sometimes I crave a baked potato with some goodies on top. When I do Hot Spud hits the mark for me. It is just a baked potato with various toppings. They make it quick and tasty.

Super great fast food! It's different than other fast food restaurants and it's much more worth it, you get a lot more for your money. The potatoes taste very good and the fillings are delicious. I ordered the steak spud and it was super good. Would definitely order one again!
